Justin T. Russo is a New York based artist and illustrator. Justin's work ranges from portraiture to caricature, drawings and oil-based painting. Justin's work mainly focuses on the Jazz Years, capturing the idealism and iconography of World War II: idols and their power.

Justin's art also delves into the culture of the gay psyche. Particularly with his recent foray, the Beard Project, examines what it means to be a modern gay man with facial hair in New York.

The artist has also examined and explored the plethora of cultural and nostalgic moments of the 1990's. With quick gouache and ink illustrations, Justin playfully captures a period of time that gave society a breadth of utter silliness.

Most recently, Justin has combined the art of the pinup (and beefcake) with politics. By de-sensitizing famous presidents and campaigners, Justin aims to make a heavy topic more light and fun.

All works are available for sale and limited edition prints made upon request.
